Parkland Dad Condemns Biden Gun Control Plans - Blood Is On Biden's Hands

Appearing on Newsmax TV with host Grant Stinchfield, Andrew Pollack, father of Parkland victim Meadow Pollack, blasted Joe Biden’s exploitation of the third anniversary of the Parkland shooting to push draconian gun control regulations that amount to a virtual repeal of the Second Amendment, saying none of Biden’s plans would have prevented the mass shooting tragedy at Meadow’s school and that “Biden’s wishes are a lie.”

Andrew Pollack is the author of “Why Meadow Died: The People and Policies That Created the Parkland Shooter and Endanger America’s Students”. Meadow was his daughter, who was killed during a school shooting on February 14, 2018 at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

The show’s host, Grant Stinchfield, began the interview by asking Pollack, “How do you sum up the state of school security three years later, and all the work that you’ve done to keep kids safe?”

“I was so disgusted that Biden, on the anniversary of my daughter getting murdered, announced — you know, his administration announced — that they were going to do all these, put all these gun control measures in place,” Pollack began.

CIRCA 2019 A Parkland Father’s Quest for Accountability
Meadow's father believes “political correctness" killed Meadow.
Add the twin evils of "diversity and inclusion" to the killing mix.

A prominent villain in Pollack's narrative is Black educator Robert Runcie, who came to Broward from Obama's hometown of Chicago in 2011, hand-picked as the Superintendent of Broward schools. Mr. Runcie introduced a program called Promise—a feel-good acronym for Preventing Recidivism through Opportunities, Mentoring, Interventions, Support and Education—under which students who commit crimes in public schools would no longer be reported to the police by administrators. Under Promise, students would be evaluated and dealt with exclusively within the schools and their associated reform programs.

This Obama brainchild abomination had its genesis in the killing fields of Chicago. Obama dictated that even felonies as severe as drug dealing, sexual assault and bringing weapons to school could lawfully be kept secret and away from police scrutiny.

Obama and Mr. Runcie “saw that minority students were being referred to the police at higher rates than whites”....... as Mr. Pollack tells it.

“Rather than recognize that misbehavior can be the result of many complex problems outside school, or at home,” Supt Runcie....egged on by No-clue Obama.....concluded the disparity was because “teachers and schools were racist.”

Ergo, w/ no reporting to police, “there’s no crime and the school’s data looks great. Problem solved.”

But Runcie and Obama created a much worse problem: “No errant student is burdened w/ a criminal background. As a result, once they graduate and want to buy a gun, background checks are useless.”

Mr. Runcie, and his braindead supporters, called their policy “discipline reform.” Violent students had to attend “healing circles,” among other sorts of in-house, nonjudicial remedies.

The result, says Mr. Pollack—---so agitated that he almost shouts—----is that “mentally disturbed students, violent psychopaths, are right there in the classroom with normal students like my daughter, and with teachers who don’t know how to deal with them, since they can’t bring in the cops.” (Excerpt) Read more at wsj.com ...
