*Somebody* is responsible for spending millions of dollars on Wind power in Texas.

Not only is Wind power terribly expensive, it freezes up in cold weather.

Tax payers are subsidizing wind power making it competitive.

There are additions to wind mills to prevent freezing up. The last time a freeze like this happened was 132 years ago. So those additions weren't a necessity.

I believe the real problem is/was...the capacity to fulfill the usage during this cold snap.

13% of the shortages were caused by frozen wind generators. The rest was due to failure to winterize lignite and natgas plants. That said, we shouldn’t be using any natgas for electricity. Only nuclear and lignite.
