$4.00 a Gallon Gas This Summer? Here's How It Could Happen.
National Interest ^ | 3/15/2021 | Ethen Kim

It contended that such an increase in prices at the pump could lead the national average to rise to $2.65 to $2.75 per gallon—the highest prices seen since 2019 and the highest seasonal prices in more than five years. More than forty states are already seeing gas prices higher than last year, with half seeing double-digit increases.

“The quicker the affected refineries are able to come back online, the better, and perhaps less painful for motorists than if they remain out of service for even longer,” Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy, said in a statement, adding that the national average could surge to $3 per gallon closer to Memorial Day weekend as refineries eventually begin to switch over to EPA-mandated cleaner summer fuels.

Thank a Biden voter.

Yep, people I know who voted for Biden will always be a target of my comments regarding skyrocketing energy prices. I'll always in their company thank them for the high prices.

Could happen?

I’m betting it WILL happen. As a matter of fact I have been planning for it since last November.

Gas in Somerset PA. is now up to $3.08

and in Maryland, where a lot of PA. drivers flock too for gas, it is up to $2.85

So we are on our way to $4.00 gas, hang on, old Joey will say it is TRUMPS FAULT.

$1.98 to $2.85 in less than 2 months. $4.00 would be a manageable stopping point. I don’t think it’ll stop there, though.

I took my granddaughter and her friend to Vegas for her 21st birthday. When I was filling up to come home she looked at the gas prices and said....wow, gas has even gone up here. I looked at her and sweetly said....you should love these gas prices, afterall, you voted for it. lol She is receiving her first lesson.

It has gone up $0.90 since January 20th when Biden took office. It goes up a few pennies a week and has not slowed.

Remember the story of all those tankers full of oil with nowhere to unload? Oversupply due to COVID. Gas was priced below the cost of production for months, that always causes the same result. Some producers have to shut down, OPEC cuts production a bit and boo, prices take off as the supply glut is worked off. Add in the storm whacking refining and now there is under supply.

Biden closed off some leasing on federal lands and prices head up even more. (Obama all over again).

Mess with a market, lose partial control through govt meddling and the consumer gets screwed.

Invest in energy now and you’ll make more than enough to buy all the gas you want. When the jets start flying more normally demand will rise a lot more. Get out in front of it or pay the price.

At $4 per gallon, the Dems lose control of the House and Senate in the mid-terms.

Gasbuddy this morning shows Reno ranging from $3.17 at Sam’s club with the nickel discount to $4.39 at a chevron station in town. (Regular unleaded) Meanwhile 30 miles south in Carson City $2.85-$3.95. Thanks joe. And, I have no doubt it’ll be pretty close to $4.00 by summer.

Everyone will have electric vehicles. The Dems are just giving them away. No more fossil fuels. Yay!
