78-year-old Joe Biden finally gave his first press conference on Thursday after hiding from reporters for more than two months.
As expected, the press conference is a total dumpster fire.
Hack reporters are throwing softball questions at Joe Biden and he’s lying about the border crisis without any push back.
At one point, when discussing the filibuster, Joe Biden totally lost his train of thought and couldn’t speak.

I think it was meant as a joke. This was also said about Joe yesterday when he was asked about his upcoming news conference. Joe said, "What news conference?"
Is he clueless? Is he joking?
My feeling is that if half the country thinks you have dementia -- if half the country think you are totally out of it, then maybe joking around about things like this is just a bad strategy.
Either way you look at it, Joe doesn't come off looking like he understands the fundamental problem of appearing to be in charge.

I watched it. As much as I dislike that guy, I have to agree with you. It sounded like a joke to me. There’s plenty of other things he has said to take issue with other than simple stuff like this.
