Alan Dershowitz told Newsmax that believes what Derek Chauvin did to George Floyd was morally inexcusable, but also believes the case should be reversed on appeal and explains why:
"Well first, what was done to George Floyd by Officer Chauvin was inexcusable morally. But the verdict is very questionable because of the outside influences from people like Al Sharpton and Maxine Waters. Their threats and intimidation and hanging the ‘Sword of Damocles’ over the jury – basically saying that if you don’t convict on the murder charge, or all the charges, the cities will burn, the country will be destroyed – seeped into the jury room because the judge made a terrible mistake by not sequestering a jury. So the judge himself said that this case may be reversed on appeal and I think it might be reversed on appeal. I think it should be reversed on appeal…."

So much jury tampering going on, from the pResident on down.
But the USA of old is fast fading away.
Well Alan, welcome to Biden’s Banana Republic!
Meanwhile these officers walked and the video was suppressed for years.
“The Dallas Morning News obtained body camera footage that was tied up in a legal battle for three years. The videos show Dallas Police responding after Tony Timpa called 911 and told dispatchers he was off his medication and had used cocaine.”

The guy belongs in jail.......but it wasn’t murder.
with. Like the “post Christian society” we live in we also live in “post USA”. Get prepared! If you aren’t prepared you best get with people that are.
Biden threw his 2 cents in today as well. What idiots! Should’ve been a mistrial today.
My heart hurts for officer Chauvin, he woke up that day and went to work just like any other day.........the criminal should not have died no doubt, but ........justice can and should be served, we’ll see what the sentence is.
Western civ rights are going out the door so fast and minorities and media are cheering it on. It won’t work out like they expect it will, sadly. I don’t see how he wasn’t guilty of some felony but 2nd murder? Seriously?
Agreed
So if it wasn’t murder and he belongs in jail, what does he belong in jail for?
Fading Fast? Where have you been It’s gone. They stole an election right in front of our eyes ...they convicted a man without a proper jury and a court with a corrupt judge an evil cheating president and representatives and you say fading. Surely you jest! Just read this on Twitter and he nails it! Be ready cause we are next! We are screwed! There will be no one to come to our rescue so be prepared

“Systemic racism” is such a perfect Marxist formulation. It delegitimizes an entire society without blaming anyone in particular, so it generates little opposition. It signifies everything and nothing simultaneously. It can’t be proven or disproven. It’s genius propaganda.
As bad as this travesty is I am reminded ... it can always get worse. More mob rule to come.
Depraved indifference?
The federal courts are a disgrace. Obviously, judges have been blackmailed.
Chauvin’s appeals, though completely valid, will be ignored.
My heart doesn’t break for cops who abuse their position, period. Overreach here? Yes, but for way too long cops have acted with impunity. Backlash was long overdue even if this wasn’t the right one. That said, the left rank and file will not like what’s coming.
Manslaughter, aggrevated assault, etc
Just like the Roe v Wade Supreme Court justices who had family members working for planned parenthood, it’s still a stacked and corrupt deck. Their refusal to stand up for the law when Biden stole the election proves justice is dead in America. The second amendment is in their cross hairs next. Buckle up.
We all knew that this wasn’t going to be a fair trial from the very beginning.
There was a John Jay college prof on radio today. He said under MN law as first time offender he could get 12.5 yrs. But judge could add to that and get 40 yrs.
If the judge’s speech regarding politicians remains in the record the appeal is going to be pretty solid.
