Hi Folks. Thank you all so much for the prayers. They are working. Met with the pulmonary specialist today. He asked a lot of questions about past jobs, places I traveled to, if I have any pet birds. I think he ruled out the necrotic infection. It’s more likely cancer. Not the greatest news, but until the biopsy they won’t know for sure.
As for the prayers working: it just so happened that there was a cancellation so I was able to get more tests run tomorrow instead of waiting a week. The Power of Prayer!
The doc wants to do an internal biopsy, go down the trachea so he can get a better look at what’s going on, then access the mass that way. It requires general Anesthesia. If they go through the chest wall it only takes a local.
