A top Republican who ran for president in 2016 appears to be gearing up for another run in 2024.
Or at least he's keeping his options open based on what Donald Trump may or may not do.
Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio appeared to strongly suggest on Monday that he may be interested in running for president in 2024.
“It’s possible that at some point in the future, down the road, two, four, six, eight, 10 [years], I don’t know when, that I will find myself in a position and want to pursue it, because I’ve done it in the past,” Rubio told Punchbowl News.

Micro Rubio should have been replaced in 2016 after his amnesty vote.
He needs to be replaced in 2022.

And in a nutshell Rubio shows what is wrong and has been wrong with the GOP for a long time - no vision, no outrage to be righted, no reason for running, just a limp process comment, useless and forgettable.

I don’t think the Republican establishment will let Trump run on the Republican ticket again. In theory, the primary voters would decide, but as the democrats showed us with Hillary and Bernie, the party can game the results.
I think the only reason they allowed Trump to run in 2016 is that they knew Hillary was going to win. Putting Trump on the ticket allowed them to both save money and didn’t require one of their mainstream candidates from being defeated in the general election.
The Republican establishment was just as shocked on election night 2016 as Hillary was. Trump might be able to put together a viable third party, but that is a tough climb.
I would truly love nothing more than watching President Trump take back the White House from the frauds who are squatting in it at the moment, but the entire political establishment of the United States is against him, and will cut him off early this time.
