Politico Reporter on Morning Joe: I'll Get 'In Trouble' For Saying FL Election Law Not So Bad

"The big lie" is perhaps the liberal media's favorite phrase nowadays. Shorthand, of course, for saying it's a lie to claim that the 2020 presidential election was tainted by fraud.

So if the MSM hates lies, you'd think they'd welcome the truth. But seems like they only want "truth" that fits their liberal narrative. Speaking inconvenient truths can get you "in trouble."

Take Florida-based Politico reporter Marc Caputo, appearing on today's Morning Joe to discuss the election law that Gov. Ron DeSantis signed yesterday. Caputo prefaced his remarks by saying:

"I guess I’m going to say something that is going to get me in trouble, in that it’s not as bad as the critics say it is."

Caputo said, “one of the animating principles in the Republican party right now is the hatred of the mainstream news media.”

Given what Caputo himself acknowledged—that a reporter would get “in trouble” for saying something that doesn’t parrot the liberal line—how can you blame Republicans and conservatives for despising the MSM?

Contrast “not so bad” with Anthony Mason saying it was so restrictive that nobody can even vote anymore. All because of Trump’s FALSE CLAIMS that have been disproven a hundred times, according to little Anthony. They really pile on the propaganda and lies over at CBS This Morning.

Is Anthony Mason the stupidest reporter at CBS, hard to say they have so many idiots.

Everyone has strong opinions about voting laws, and few have strong knowledge of voting laws. It’s a subject area I have steered very clear of commenting on, because I know I don’t know.

Seems like we want two things. A. lots of people should be able to vote and do so pretty easily; and B. no one should be able to vote who is not supposed to vote. No one should vote more than once, no one should vote on anyone else’s behalf.

“”I guess I’m going to say something that is going to get me in trouble,”

Sentence reminds me of something the so-called “Leader of the Free World” might say.
