I recently had my annual VA “physical”. They almost as an after thought asked if I wanted a Covid Vaccination. I said no based on the grounds of it not being FDA approved just yet.
It seems a lot of us old disabled, Vietnam era vets are doing the same thing. We recognize the Democrat BS. “Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me”.
A lot of medical people, according to things I’ve read, have been saying no as well. And over half of the Marine Corps has been as well.
So, you are not alone. I’ve been talking a wait and see approach myself.
Didn’t feel like talking part in the largest human trial of an untested med, in history!
They’re pushing it too hard. If the infection and survival rate was higher/lower, I’d be more amenable.
LOL.
Getting the vaccines approved and to the public quickly without the usual FDA red tape was on of the major achievements of the TRUMP ADMINISTRATION.
And save a huge number lives and allow us to go back to normal.
Same here.
I’ve asked many VA employees if they got a shot and I’d say 80% have said “no”.
That includes my Orthopedic doctor and my dental hygienist.
I wonder what kind of world we will be living in if these vaccines make the next virus even more fatal.
Is that possible? Nobody seems to know do they?
I’m a Desert Storm Vet and I’m not taking this vax either. The VA has FINALLY stopped calling me on a daily basis.
Looks like they were getting paid by the head for a while there. Jerks. :(
I did the exact same thing and my doctor said Rus that’s fine, no problem.
I have been offered the shot, all my family and neighbors free of charge by the VA. Once again I refused.
In 76 I was forced to get a shot in the Army and got sick as ever for a week. Never again.
I tell anyone that asks, that I have decided to be part of the control group. And I am very interested to see how the human guinea pigs fare.
