I suppose that it’s quite possible that Trump dropped prosecuting Hillary for these reasons, if he ever actually intended that.

No good deed goes unpunished nowadays, it seems.

It won’t happen.
The Feds are well aware of the societal repercussions.

They’ll do whatever they have to do to stop NY.

Even in a Biden administration.

The left will not push the right over the edge of civil war, but only because they would lose badly.

They will never do it. It would just take away from their agenda.

If President Trump (the best President ever) is indicted and extradited, the shit will really hit the fan.

It will be the end of the Republic, or at least of the Democrat Party and also a thinning of the RINO ranks of the GOP who tolerate shit like this.

Not a threat.. Just a prediction.

They don’t yet have a crime, so they hope by getting Trump taxes, they can manufacture something, correct?

They don’t even know what they think he’s going to be indicted for. You can’t charge a person with irritating bed-wetting liberals.

“The next Republican president will be under enormous pressure to take a similar Democrat scalp. To be on the safe side and make it hurt, he’ll probably have to take down several prominent Democrats.”

I’m not convinced this will ever happen. Both ways, I guess—that a republican is ever elected president again and and if one is they somehow go on some successful plan that involves the justice department and grand juries in DC. I mean who makes up the justice department, who lives in DC?

Freegards

Re: "The next Republican president will be under enormous pressure to take a similar Democrat scalp. To be on the safe side and make it hurt, hell probably have to take down several prominent Democrats."

That is absurd.

The GOP will do NOTHING - even if by some miracle we win a national election.

The Trump DOJ, the Trump FBI, the Trump Intelligence Community, and the Trump appointed Judges, did NOTHING to stop the rampant criminality of the Democrat Party.

Iran calls America the Great Satan. In truth, it's the DNC, the latest incarnation of the evil James Earl Carter Gang.

You can guess who authored the bible that says you can cancel a jet fighter order and not refund any of the money, then go on to freeze $120 billion of the customer's assets worldwide. The mullahs, out of options, took the hostages.

Carter's gang boycotted the Moscow Olympics. Biden signing the Beijing Olympic boycott is certain.

It doesn’t stop with Trump.

There’s this NY State Senator who is now running for Manhattan Borough President, who is basing his whole campaign on getting Rudolph Giuliani prosecuted and convicted. Whole flyers with large pictures of Giuliani on both sides, coupled with statements on how this guy is going after him.

Nuts.

As I understand the rumors of Trumps putative crimes, they are tax related. Other than signing his own returns, I doubt they’ll be able to prove very much, insofar as intent is concerned, which is an essential element in any crime. At most, they’ll be able to lock up his accountants, but not likely. It may be a matter that he’ll have to pay some fines, related to some deductions that the IRS disallows, or in this case, NY State. Negligence does not equal intent, and people like Trump are schooled, and well skilled, on how not to end up in a tax situation. Not to mention, finding a jury of his peers that will actually convict him. The only way a jury is empaneled that will convict him, is if it is entirely made up of rabid Democrats. Not gonna happen. My question would be: I’ll take jury nullification for $1,000 Alex.

And all of this begs the question, “What crime has Donald Trump committed?”

“The next Republican president will be under enormous pressure to take a similar Democrat scalp.

Its cute that the author thinks there will ever be another Republican President (or even a substantial Repub House or Senate majority). Now that the Left has stolen a Presidential election and gotten away with it, they will never give up power.

democRATS = unintended consequences of not so well thought out hateful actions

They can't help themselves. The seethe with anger over the fact that Trump wasn't guilty of any Russian collusion or that they weren't able to impeach him, TWICE, so they continue to pursue him because of their hate for him.

It's not so much that they think he did something wrong, but that they simply hate him. That is the mentality of Vance and the other prosecutors going after Trump.

Trump is the Right's Hillary, except Hillary actually committed crimes. Trump's crimes are imaginary.

The Stalinists are getting closer to my prediction of a bogus RICO case against the Trump organization complete with the Democratic creative legal theories that we saw them apply to Newt Gingrich with their bogus creative theory of tax fraud; Tom DeLay with their bogus creative reimagining of “money laundering”; General Flynn, Bijan Rafiekian, Paul Manafort, Greg Craig, and Rudolph Giuliani with their bogus creative theories of FARA violations; and Michael Cohen and Donald Trump with their bogus creative theory that paying someone to sign a nondisclosure agreement for alleged affair that took place a decade ago is a campaign expense. And let's not forget their bogus creative theories of Trump obstructing of the Mueller coup which unfortunately wasn't obstructed.

Here's my prediction: https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/3955486/posts

I believe Trump walked away from the presidency without any real fight because he had an agreement to do so. I don’t see Trump or any of the kids going to prison.
