Some of these Desantis fans are going to be in for a rude awakening. Desantis cannot be Trump. And Desantis would have a hard time beating a Democrat on the national ticket. It’s not that easy. But Desantis is Trump without the baggage? The same was said about Christie.
President Trump’s only “baggage” is being the GEOTUS, who had restored America to unparalleled glory and prestige.
He truly loves his country and has accepted the relentless harassment and endured its slings and arrows to serve our nation.
He connects with patriotic Americans and shares a bond with them that no other mere politician can rival.

Trump is the alpha wolf but DeSantis is the young wolf. I think Trump is waiting until 2022 to see if DeSantis wins reelection in Florida, and if he does. Well, it’s going to be the young wolf’s time to shine.
The media will do to DeSantis what they did to Trump if DeSantis gets the nomination. They’ll call him a Nazi, stupid, a host of anti-whatever, racist, sexist, homophobic...everything. It won’t matter who we pick. It’s just a play in their book they never tire of runnng.
He would be a good VP for Trump though.
As much as I would love to see President Trump get reelected again to the Presidency I think that the Rats would again go from day one attacking and obstructing President Trump from accomplishing anything.
In that case I would vote for Gov.DeSantis over anyone else in the GOP establishment.

Nah. Trump is waiting for 2022 because 1) it is obviously too early (have you heard anyone else announce?) and 2) Trump is is campaigning to win back the House and Senate. Does also running for the Presidency at that time make any sense at all? It’s laughable and foolish for DeSantis, Hailey, Nobody Noem, either Scott, and Liz Cheney to think they can simply run for President and beat Trump.

Trump has his good and bad points. I’m in the Trump camp but, for instance, why did he have to say today that he might have won if Pence hadn’t caved?
I listened to the radio of Buck Sexton and his partner who ran the poll. They are pushing DeSantis, in my opinion. I found their show a big nothing burger and shut it off as they were boring. Buck’s partner yapped most of the time trying to impress but it doesn’t work.
They ran the poll on Twitter, I’m a loyal Trumper and have nothing to do with Twitter.
I wasted about 2 hours listening hoping it would get better. I won’t make the same mistake tomorrow. Also not using their own intro song and keeping all of Rush Limbaugh show sound effects was an abomination.

Yes, because it’s true. As to DeSantis, he’s my Gov here in FL and great, but it’s not his time yet. As VP to Trump yes, or a high post in a Trump Admin. But DeSantis does not have Trump’s huge base, including working class former Dems, nor is he larger than life like Trump is.
Besides, DeSantis won’t run for Prez if Trump does. He won’t go up against Trump in a primary, and most intelligent people know this. DeSantis will never challenge Trump if Trump should run. Chris Christie will though, mark my words. DeSantis has political morals and loyalty, Christie doesn’t.
