I had no idea that wokeness had hit Sci Fi. Since the 90's, pretty much. Better to re-read Heinlein and Asimov than struggle through today's endless parade of Green Feminist Wokeness.

Agreed. My limit is also around the early 1990’s (Pournelle’s series on the Codominimum finished about then). Beyond that, it became very “culturally relevant”. Same for Fantasy as well. I find the older works to be much more enjoyable and (frankly) much less sexually explicit.
