I don't know if any of you were fans of the Sopranos but a friend made me aware of a new Sopranos movie that's coming out this fall, it's a Prequel, James Gandolfini's real life son plays the part of a young Tony Soprano. All the characters from the HBO show are in the movie except much younger versions...I usually don't go to theaters much anymore but this movie is being released on HBO MAX the same day it hits the theaters...

But he still doesn’t have the makings of a varsity athlete.

The Sopranos made a lot of references to The Godfather. The most obvious was the final scene with Members Only Guy going into the bathroom to get the weapon, like Michael Corleone.

Ya. And the longest one to run was the one from Milwaukee WI.
Cant remember his name. They actually got into it with the Chicago outfit back in the early 60s or something.
I was a youngster and some of the thing spilled over into our area way the hell up in the sticks in NE Wis. They shot a witnesses wife through the screen of a place where the law had her staying. 1/4 mile form where I lived. Matter of fact, they rented the place from one of our neighbors. That summer, they got two others at a campground up there.

There is a YouTube channel “Mob Vlog” a fellow named Adam Flowers runs. He has some interviews with Cullota and another figure named Red Wemette, who was a mob associate turned informant. Pretty interesting Chicago mob stories.

The whole dam works flipped. Result of the Rico act.

But, the whole works are still there, just not drawing attention to themselves. Like Gotti did.

One thing about that group in Chicago. Anyone got to mouthing off and drawing attention. They took care of him.

“My wife and I just binge watched all the Soprano’s episodes “

I’ve got it all on DVD. the thing to do is when you’ve gotten to the end, put the first episode in again. The difference is amazing.

Yes, anyone drawing to much attention to themselves or the outfit can expect to get a call for a meeting, probably never to be heard from again.
