Texas Redistricting: Get Ruthless. Ram through GOP-favorable Redistricting via Legislative Redistricting Board

Democrat tricks, dishonesty, lies, and bad conduct should be met with the authority and ruthlessness of the rule book. That rule book being the Texas Constitution.

After the legislative session, Governor Abbott called a special session to wrap-up a laundry list of legislation that our representatives were unable to complete. At some point, a cadre of Democrats abandoned their voters and skipped town, bringing the session to a halt. From my perspective, the most important task the legislature needs to accomplish is redistricting as the future stability of Texas is dependent on it.

Though the Democrats derailed the legislature, the Texas Constitution makes provision for such shenanigans. Enter the Legislative Redistricting Board. It must be assembled.

FTA.........As I observed the political process play out this year, I had one major takeaway—Republicans are reluctant to exercise the rules and their powers for the good of the people. This needs to change immediately. What would our political enemies do if the balance of power were reversed? We see this playing out in the U.S. House of Representatives now.

What must be done:

End this legislative special session now.

Assemble the Legislative Redistricting Board and complete redistricting.

Put the legislature back into special session.

Our future is up for grabs. Our leaders must use the authority granted to them by the powers of the state Constitution. Use the rule book. Get the work done. Protect Texas from this rabble the Democratic party has become.

Texas is awash with closet democrats. They run as 'republicans' because in most districts in Texas they couldn't be elected dog catcher as a democrat. That's the biggest problem in Texas, besides the cesspools of Houston, Austin, and Dallas.
