A tremendous problem with our society is that we think we invented the world anew. Every generation thinks that, of course, but some historical humility would yield much of that common sense that our culture lacks.
No problem either way, but thanks for the write back. You are entirely correct that each generation thinks of themselves as the sum of all intelligence and wisdom. From Billy Graham, to Satan and in between. What we are is a story, and if written correctly is interesting.
