The St. Louis attorney has made a name for herself as a progressive activist. Gardner doggedly pursued Mark and Patricia McCloskey after they confronted left-wing agitators outside their home with firearms. After the McCloskeys successfully argued Gardner’s personal politics had infected the proceedings, she was removed from the case. The local NBC news affiliate reported she had used the case in campaign fundraising emails before and after the charges were issued.
Gardner’s office missed multiple hearings related to the Campbell case; Gardner herself failed to respond to an email from the accused murderer’s attorney. “Kim Gardner is a poor excuse for a prosecutor,” said Brandy Veasley, one of the victim’s sisters. “It’s not fair.”

These people were elected into office by stupid voters (and help from voter fraud).
Two of these criminal-loving DAs are being recalled in California - radical leftist Chesa Bodin and idiot George Gascon.
Neither has met a criminal he didn’t wish to help.
Universal suffrage has been a national disaster.
If there is no one to arrest criminals, then not prosecuting them is not a problem.
Not prosecuting criminals UNLESS they visited the Capitol on January 6th.
I think these are all Soros funded DAs and AGs. Competence is not a requirement. Leftist ideology, pliability and “social justice” focus is all that is required. Soros initially tried with Sec of State offices but they didn’t have the power of the DA/AGs who are now recking havoc on our justice system and creating chaos in our cities (St Louis, Chicago etc).
