Over 1,500 rabbis say ADL 'no longer competent' to identify, let alone combat, anti-Semitism. 'Only someone with no sense of Jewish history could claim BDS isn't anti-Semitic.'
The Coalition for Jewish Values (CJV) took renewed aim at the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) on Tuesday, after the ADL announced a partnership with Hillel International, the Jewish college organization, to document anti-Semitism on American campuses.
While such an effort is noble and worthwhile, the ADL, CJV pointed out, demonstrated that it lacks the moral clarity to properly identify anti-Semitism, let alone combat it.
An ADL spokesperson, describing the new initiative, wrongly claimed that, “Anti-Israel activism in and of itself is not anti-Semitism,” and that they would need to “carefully evaluate” student government resolutions supporting BDS, the international Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement that seeks to destroy the State of Israel.

Michael Savage dealt with them years ago and said they won’t even talk to you without having to pay a substantial fee up front. He said to heck with ‘em.
Within the recent past, they definitely had center-right credibility, for a college age organization.
I have always cherished Hillel the Elder's famous epigram, which I paraphrase like this...
"If not now, when? If not me, who?"
ADL, as I recall, is now headed by an Obama leftist named Greenblatt or Greenberg. He is like the ADL’s equivalent of George Soro’s son’s fake Jewish front group, Arc of the Bend, with reared it leftist head to try and dominate the tragic killings at the Synagogue in Pittsburgh.
I think Soro’s son is named Alex orJohn. A KAPO just like his father was.

Hillel has been AWOL for many decades. Its national leaders for the most part choose far Left progressives to lead the local college Hillels. When the haters of Israel set up big anti-Israel events and even displays to spread lies about Israel on campuses, Hillel directors, when begged by members of the local Jewish communities, have made formal statements that they will say nothing in response to the false accusations and do nothing in response because “We are above that sort of thing.”
When it was publicized that Iran’s anti-Semitic, anti-U.S., Ahmadinejad spoke on campus of an ivy league university, the Hillel directors there said, when asked, that Hillel was not going to get involved and that they would do nothing before or during his visit and that they would say nothing, but that the one thing they were going to do was to open the doors to the Hillel facility that day for students to talk about it among themselves, if they wished to do so.
Some aging folks assume it’s the same Hillel they once knew from another generation. Now that some of the other “woke” groups are arousing themselves and reacting to anti-Semitism, Hillel is doing the same in its fundraising, sending out solicitations for donations, referring to “anti-Semitism” against the students and how need to fight it.
Where were they all these years when they were needed, when the problem had already begun to gear up bit time? They were still telling the young people to luxuriate in kumbayah. They modelled the same delusion for the students as the “progressive” rabbinical schools and their graduates have been modelling for their congregants and in their congregational religious schools and youth groups for half a century.
Yes, as another poster has said, the infiltration did not start yesterday and has been thorough in so very many groups.
Indeed what we need is the JDL, Jewish Defense League back and their fine motto, “Every Jew a .22,” or as I prefer, “Every Jew a Walther PPQ.”

Everything I thought I knew about Hillel politically came from National Review and Commentary.
Both those magazines have been moving to the Left for many years, which explains my misunderstanding.
This has been the case ever since Abe Foxman took over the ADL and Bnai Brith broke ties with it. In short, quite a while.
No “secular” Jewish “leadership” is competent.
American secular Jews are just like American secular Catholics, Biden and Pelosi.
