I am not alone in disliking hypocrites more than people who espouse or practice things I find repelling.

I can understand a communist, a BLM agitator, a member of Antifa, or an illegal immigrant. I can even have some respect for them if they are honestly doing what they think right for themselves, their family, or for the world.

I hate far, far more, the useless sacks of excrement who say one thing and do another. Who rail against abortion but send their daughter for one, who blather about drunk driving and then drive drunk, who preach and propagate against homosexuals and their lifestyle while actually practicing same sex.

Give me a member of the Taliban or a straight-up Chinese Communist over a damned preacher with a mistress or male lover. Give me an atheist who says what they mean over some phony telling me what I should do without doing it.

And yes, I'm quite aware of Paul writing of not doing what he wanted to do and doing what he didn't want to do; that matters not at all to me, you ain't Paul.

Hypocrites are the lowest form of intellectual life.

The more someone talks about morals and ethics, the closer I hold my wallet and the more certain I am that they are not to be trusted.
