According to the Washington Post, Oklahoma Representative Markwayne Mullin called the U.S. ambassador to Tajikistan on Monday, asking for help bringing in a tremendous amount of cash from Tblisi, Georgia, in order to travel to neighboring Afghanistan to rescue via helicopter an American citizen and her four children still in the Taliban-controlled nation. When U.S. officials said no, Mullin threatened ambassador John Mark Pommersheim and embassy staff. As of Tuesday night, his exact whereabouts were unknown

Really mixed on Twitter... Democrats mostly condemning, Repubs cheering... He doesn’t seem to be a veteran.. has a MMA background.... member of the Cherokee Nation... his family’s fortune seems to be based on land due to that.

I think it’s a bit beyond the pale to denigrate this rep based on his Jan 6 actions.
Seriously, this is a major effort, and a major risk. Do not be so flippant and glib about what he’s done (assuming this is a reliable source).
I don’t wish him ill on that. Hope he is OK and can help some people.

All I know about him is that he's not a veteran. He ran his family's plumbing business before he got elected to congress.
He's also, one might say a thrill seeker. Kick boxing and stuff like that.
