As was first reported at The Gateway Pundit — US contract dogs were abandoned at the Kabul airport after the last American flight left on Monday.
The dogs that were left behind were reportedly from the Kabul Small Animal Rescue.
Dr. Robin R. Ganzert, president and CEO of American Humane, issued a statement condemning the animal cruelty.
“I am devastated by reports that the American government is pulling out of Kabul and leaving behind brave U.S. military contract working dogs to be tortured and killed at the hand of our enemies. These brave dogs do the same dangerous, lifesaving work as our military working dogs, and deserved a far better fate than the one to which they have been condemned,” Ganzert said.

Ours are supposedly. The ones let go were on contract to the military. Heartless bastards, you have to parse every word they spew.
All the valuable bomb detecting "sniffer" dogs were evacuated. The Dept. of Defense ordered all the remaining dogs released. (security and patrol dogs) These were 51 Contract service dogs they felt no responsibility for. Sorta like "rent a dog".
Charlotte Maxwell Jones KSAR wants to recapture them along with all the other dogs that were released and try to get them out of the country. However it's been reported that the Taliban wants to capture them and use them their selves. This would be very bad news for the dogs. They would likely be treated like the military dogs we sent to our ally Jordan....starved and worked to death within a year a Federal investigation revealed.
So what did our military do following the investigation? They sent more dogs to Jordan.
This is all the more pitiful when Fox News reported tonight that the last planes out of Kabul were empty.

From numerous reports I’ve read, these are not military dogs! These are personal pets, rescued dogs taken in by contractors and servicemembers.
