I’m a boomer too. Sometimes I wish I was born a hundred years earlier, just for the simpler times, when people respected each other more, well, you get the idea. They weren’t called “The Greatest Generation “ for nothing.
The 20th Century definitely had it’s problems, but the “progressives” are erasing all of the good that was built up and making this country a more dangerous place.
Just to add this, that is one of my favorite patriotic songs, too, as well as America the Beautiful. Kate Smith could really belt out a tune. She had a great set of lungs. I mean that literally.
