It’s coming where I work. The post office. I plan on letting them fire me. They won’t. They don’t have enough help as it is. But I’ve made it this far, working every day. I would love an extended vacation.
FRIEND! Timing is intentional. Fire/lose staff before end of semester means smaller patroll. Lose customers after start of semester means more income (they will try to withhold refunded tuition). JMHO
I just retired early because my boss made the vaccine mandatory. She would accept a religious or personal exemption (in writing, with “proof”???), but would then require weekly testing.
She did not care that I had gone thru’ COVID and recovered and thus have antibodies.
I was forced to take one test, which was a very unpleasant experience and honestly felt like a “violation”. My nose burned for 3 days and I had a nasty taste in the back of my mouth.
That said, I agree with those who are saying you need to force them to fire you, and get it in writing.
I don’t see how it can be lawful to force a person to put something into their body that is untested and has documented BAD side effects. I understand the “emergency” reasoning they are putting out there to force these jabs, but this is unprecedented.
Even more so when you/your family have/has no recourse for compensation if you are incapacitated or even killed by the “vaccine”.
They are desperate to get everyone vaxed so they can unleash the next virus pandemic that will kill even more
Make them fire you. Drag it out and make it ugly. Also. Lie about having been “vaccinated” or some other exemption. I see no moral problem lying to tyrants.

It does not. As surely as the Rev showed secession is a natural right, and as surely as one can run away from one’s spouse, there is nothing “illegal” about dissociating oneself from another.
Well known preachers are saying on tv that the shot changes your DNA and thereby makes you ineligible as a human to go to heaven. That makes it a religious issue.
We should all identify as preferred religious group Moslems and declare our Islamic objections.
We are full of liberals. That is the nature of the whole area. People presume they can spout off about liberal opinions without blowback, it is so bad here.
People are constantly wearing masks in places they don’t need to while you KNOW they also got vax.

The good thing for me is I am just a part-time tutor and my husband does very well. I even drastically cut my hours because we are virtual still, and when this nonsense started I found I hate endless hours with an iPad trying to teach. So I cut hours by less than half.
I hope you do not depend on the job more than I do!
I’m not giving in. I have no idea what can happen. I am not a true “anti-vax”, just “anti-COVID-vax” (for now). It has not had enough time to go through NORMAL R&D MINUS FDA. I told my mom last year hah, it’ll never get done for another couple years. FDA adds lots of bureaucracy but biology should still take a good while to figure.

I do not want swabs in the nose every week - or the effort to get it done. Ridiculous.
What will that “jab” in the back of the nasal mucous membranes do, constantly getting agitated? Will it open us up to getting OTHER infections - much worse, maybe?
I’ve had the swab 6x as it is. Once was positive. I can’t imagine it weekly.
They can shove the swab up THEIR noses.
Auto correct is really not helpful for dumb people like me who can not spell.

No I agree, I actually didn’t attend an in-person meeting at my job when they required a negative test in order to do so. But my bigger point is that there’s a way bigger than zero chance that none of these mandates are going to stand up either legally or just in terms of public health strategy. If you want to keep your job, my strategy would be to just keep pushing the confrontation back in time.
