need to find someone with legal competence in your state with an interest in this topic to opine. you may have options. I would be very careful with any further correspondence with your employer in the meantime - you may have closed some possible avenues with your initial answers.

I've been told I'll be facing this with my corporate employer soon (I think they're waiting for end-of-quarter). I've got a buddy who owns a small consulting company that wants to bring me onboard, so I'll be throwing in with him and "getting entrepreneurial". He's going to start by providing benefits, and I'll be ramped up on compensation as the business grows (he has a good history of growing business, and I've got a bit of a cushion, so this is doable for me).

If I was earlier in life and had kids depending on me, though, I would be tempted to take the vaccine as "just another sacrifice for the kids".
