Infrastructuremas hasn’t been canceled … at least not yet. The prospects for the bipartisan infrastructure bill don’t exactly look cheery, however, as Nancy Pelosi caved at least in part to the progressive House caucus. Instead of the vote scheduled today for the $1.2 trillion bipartisan bill, Pelosi has pushed it off to Thursday — the same day that Congress has to act to forestall a government shutdown:

Deemed passed on some sort of procedural trick. They are pulling out all of the stops to get this thru without actually holding a vote.
“Deemed passed” is borderline criminal, imo.
>So what happens on Thursday? Another punt?
Hopefully a massive failure by the Democrats
It’s so bipartisan that it can’t pass.
i’m sure it was punted because they don’t have the votes, yet.
Ever notice how seldom Congress actually votes and rejects a bill? If a bill doesn’t have support, they generally will just not vote on it, rather than vote it down. I’m sure that’s where they are now, not having enough support yet to pass it.

Yeah, Pelosi doesn’t have the votes. There’s too many people wanting different things and trying to earmark everything they can because they know on Sept. 30th, it’s down to the line.
If you see Pelosi do a conference on Wed., it’s got to be going very badly for her.
Nanzi doesn’t have the votes. We are winning. Keep the pressure on. No to the infrastructure bill. No to the budget. No to the debt ceiling. Yes to massive cuts in government programs and spending.
She is going to hold the GOP-e hostage knowing they will fold.
VOTE AGAINST THIS MONSTER...
It is only a matter of time before they agree to squander $5 trillion dollars.
More like a betrayal than a cave. She promised the centrist Democrats a vote today on the infrastructure vote today to get their vote on the budget resolution a few weeks ago. She made a deal and now is not honoring it.
"I'm never bringing a bill to the floor that doesn't have the votes," she said.
What's the deal with the Reconciliation Bill and Sept. 30? Is the bill dead after that date?
“Hopefully a massive failure by the Democrats”
Full scale “Blame the Republicans” media effort. The talking points will begin tomorrow evening. Funny, they do this on the day of the shutdown vote.
