In the name of Covid, a Canadian provincial government has granted itself ’emergency powers,’ allowing them to seize personal property at will.
Under Orwellian new health orders, the Saskatchewan minister may “authorize the entry into any building or on any land, without warrant, by any person in the course of implementing an emergency plan.”
But it gets worse…
The Canadian government has also granted itself the power to “cause the evacuation of persons and the removal of persons or livestock and personal property from any area of Saskatchewan that is or may be affected by an emergency and make arrangements for the adequate care and protection of those persons or livestock and of the personal property.”
The new Provincial Emergency Order under The Emergency Planning Act was signed September 13, by Premier Scott Moe. The orders were announced by the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health.

One might could understand if deaths were approaching those of the Black Plague.....but they’re not even close.
Yes, the real question is whether COVID-19 has risen to the status of this kind of emergency since what we’re actually talking about here is that a province has activated the existing emergency powers that it has for any kind of public health or safety emergency (let’s say if a dam broke or there was a really serious health crisis like the black death).
This one is borderline. Also as far as I know the province of SK has not actually used these powers (yet). Keeping an eye on it.
Oregon has a similar law on the books. I don’t remember the details but they got it in just a few years ago.
The dictators wanna be seems to be using Covid-19 as an excuse to seize power. Global government on the horizon? seems like everyone is punishing the common person for the pandemic but not blaming China for loosening it.
and that’s when the shooting starts...
Hopefully there is enough government oversight on the government to prevent any governmental abuse of this new law.

Of course, everyone remembers the Mad Max Movies? That whole improbable dystopian and barbaric world? I never thought we’d see the day when a civilized country like Australia descended into chaos and tyranny. Now, I wonder when if ever it will end?
