As we reported earlier this month, Jonathan Kent, the new iteration of Superman, is bisexual, according to DC Comics. The traditionally heterosexual superhero will embark on a same-sex relationship with a friend in a new comic book series. “Jon,” who is the son of Clark Kent and Lois Lane, started his tenure in July.
DC Comics last week announced the changes to Superman in its series “Superman: Son of Kat-El.” In addition to coming out as bi-sexual and beginning a relationship with Jay Nakamura, Superman’s motto, “Truth, Justice, and the American Way,” is being replaced by “Truth, Justice, and a Better Tomorrow.”
Nakamura, a gay reporter, cares for “Jon” after he “mentally and physically burns out from trying to save everyone that he can” in an issue of Superman: Son of Kal-El #5, to be released in November. Nakamura is also revealed to have special powers. I’m sure he does.

Recent issues have seen Superman protesting against wildfires caused by climate change, stopping a high school shooting (no doubt by a deranged white guy with an AR-15 — aka: “assault rifle,” to the idiot Left) — and… wait for it… protesting the deportation of illegal refugees in Metropolis — edge-of-your-seat crap.
Now, a colorist involved in creating the Superman comic says he’s quitting his job in response to the “wokeness” that has permeated the franchise. The colorist, Gabe Eltaeb, said during a recent livestream, as reported by Fox News.
“I’m finishing out my contract with DC. I’m tired of this sh*t, I’m tired of them ruining these characters; they don’t have a right to do this.”
Wrong, Gabe. “They” not only believe they have the right to “ruin” Superman and other characters; they believe it is their moral duty to do so — and we should thank them for having the courage to do it.

And Eltaeb wasn’t finished. Oh hell, no.
“What really pissed me off was saying ‘truth, justice, and a better world. F**k that. It was ‘Truth, Justice, and the American way.’ My grandpa almost died in World War II; we don’t have a right to destroy sh*t that people died for to give us. It’s a bunch of f**king* nonsense.”

Actor Dean Cain, who played Superman in “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman,” “nicely” slammed the changes to the iconic superhero last week, as reported by The Daily Wire.
Noting that “Son of Kal-El” is only one series of dozens featuring Superman, his offspring, and his partners. “They said it’s a bold new direction. I say they’re bandwagoning.”
“I don’t think it’s bold or brave or some crazy new direction. If they had done this 20 years ago, perhaps that would be bold or brave. But brave would be having him fight for the rights of gay people in Iran where they’ll throw you off a building for the offense of being gay,” Cain added.
“Or fighting for the rights of women to attend school and have the ability to work and live and boys not to be raped by men under the new warm and fuzzy Taliban,” Cain said.
“There’s real evil in this world today, real corruption and government overreach,” he added. “It’d be great to tackle those issues, shine a light on those issues. I’d like to see the character doing that.”
Obviously, Dean Cain is a homophobe — or whatever kind “phobe” hates bi-sexual men.

Au contraire, says Jim Lee, DC’s chief creative officer and publisher:
“To better reflect the storylines that we are telling across DC and to honor Superman’s incredible legacy over 80 years of building a better world, Superman’s motto is evolving.”

I suppose, at some point, it was inevitable because there have been stories about Superman’s descendants. However, Jonathon is going to need some counselling in order to get on track in creating descendants.

I’ve said it before. It all went down after DC’s Crisis on Infinite Earths. That was the end of comic books as we know it.
That’s why NO ONE buys the new comic books. Here in Hollywood I personally know clerks who told me the same thing and they only come in to buy the old 90’s comics. Heck, they even told me anime stores make more money than them nowadays.
