Apparently, from the article, this was mandated by the Contra Costa County health district. The fines are coming from the county, not the Feds.

Still private property, private citizens, private business, and government should be told to “go piss off.”
This is what happens when for whatever BS reasons, government (city, county, state, federal) gets the powers to regulate everything because it’s always an emergency, for the children, to save the planet, or for national security... In the meantime you can take every constitutional right and throw it away because it has been undermined.
Name one of the first 10 Amendements that has not been abridged?
Where is your right to privacy in all of this?
Where is freedom of religion in all of this?
Where is your right to petition and redress?
Where is any law and vote by the people? How is all this being done?
When they are doing all these things, is it based on actual laws or some agency/departments rule, policy, regulation, executive order or judges opinion?
If they can tell a private business, private citizens, on private property what to do, when and how, then freedom and rights are finished in this country. Home of the “free and brave” is just another sound good meaningless slogan.
