My optometrist has gone over the edge on masks.
If she were not so good at her job and her office having the top of the line technology....and my eyes needing the best, I would find another OD. It’s gotten creepy. I suspect, based on her comments, that she is never going to let go of the mask thing.
My ophthalmologist doesn’t wear a mask, and he said he prefers that his patients don’t, either. The whole office did for a couple months in the spring of 2020 — the two weeks to flatten the curve period — but they dumped that quickly.
