A young fan holding a “Tom Brady Helped Me Beat Brain Cancer” sign breaks down in tears when Tom Brady gives him a signed cap.

Tom Brady shared the heartwarming moment with the young fan, who is a cancer survivor, on Sunday night as the team was closing out a victory over the Chicago Bears.

Yes,it's always good to hear when a sick kid gets better. But ever since Brady made those filthy comments about Trump at the White House he's been dead to me.

Not everything is about Trump.

Jeez...can’t someone do something nice without the Trump Zealots shitting all over it?

There is a lot more to our lives than politics. If that is prism through which you view everything, your life is losing its meaning.

I've been a Brady detractor because he came across as an arrogant entitled jerk when he was with the Patriots. I suppose part of that was the general atmosphere of tightassery that permeates the Patriots organization because since he's gone to Tampa Bay his public persona appears much more relaxed and likeable.

Glad to see him making a sick kid happy.

You are right not everything is about Trump. This is most likely more about repentance for being a cheater.

So Brady gave him a hat.For years I’ve donated platelets at Children’s Hospital in Boston as often as they allow. That sure as hell doesn’t make me a hero...it’s 90 minutes out of my day.

Put the blame on his liberal wife.

Brady was all for Trump...even had a MAGA hat.

Then Bundchen weighed in.

Agree with you. Tom Brady did what Donald Trump would have done for the little guy.

Is that sarcasm? I just can’t tell anymore, even here on FreeRepublic.

I am not calling him a hero.

And if you are getting butt hurt because the rest of the world is not praising you...you are donating for the wrong reason.

I applaud what you are doing. It is a good, decent thing.

I was the primary caretaker to 7 Octogenarians in my family—consuming 7 years of my life on a daily basis. Now its down to 2, with one on hospice.

No one aside from them, and my wife, gives a shit. I don’t expect them to.

But when I see someone doing something nice for someone and expecting nothing in return, I tip my hat. I don’t ask their political affiliation.

Some background would be nice. How did he help him beat cancer? Did Brady meet the kid before?

“Is that sarcasm? I just can’t tell anymore, even here on FreeRepublic.”

Things are getting crazy, even here.
Between bashing Brady, laughing over Baldwin killing a woman, and assorted other behaviors, I think I’m taking a break.

It’s a fantastic clip. That little boy will never forget that moment and kudos to Brady for taking the time out to recognize that boy.

Experience has taught me that when some one with a less than sterling reputation gives a gift you check it for a trip wire before you praise it

There are some people who wake up every day looking for a reason to be outraged. Most are Democrats, but we have our share also.
