Second American Revolution: Liberty or Tyranny, which will we choose?
The Liberty Loft ^ | November 17, 2021 | Seth Hancock

Reading Time: 5 minutes

Charlotte, NC — “I can tell you right now, I do not know whether we’re going to win or lose. The only thing that I can control is a little piece of real estate inside my own shoes, and I can tell you whatever happens that I will go down fighting and that I will die with my boots on,” said Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Kennedy’s remarks came at the end of a nearly 50-minute speech given last month. He described how America is currently in the midst of the second American Revolution, and indeed it is. Certainly, the jab mandates underway magnify it, but this war on the people has been ongoing since March of 2020 as the government has targeted practically every one of our liberties in the Bill of Rights. I might go a little further and say this war has gone on for over a century since the creation of the Federal Reserve and the passage of the income tax amendment, but that’s a different story altogether.

On Monday, Tucker Carlson interviewed Kennedy on his Fox News show. Kennedy noted that our liberties have been threatened by a dictatorial “doctor,” Anthony Fauci, who has not been able to keep his story straight throughout the last 20 months.

Kennedy said “we have to love our freedom more than we fear a germ, we have to,” and there are “worse things than death.” That’s emblematic of the philosophy of our nation’s founders who sacrificed themselves for freedom. As I wrote on Independence Day this year, the one thing all Americans need to remember is that the founding fathers were nearly all super rich under British rule which they gave up because liberty for themselves, and future generations, was more

The Spanish flu killed 20 million people over a hundred years ago. At the time, global population was less than 2B.

And during that epidemic, life didn’t shut down, and the government did not try to become a dictatorship.

COVID is not in any sense an existential crisis. The death toll is much lower, and the global population is much higher. So COVID is much less significant than Spanish Flu. But they’ve managed to turn the whole world upside down, ruin the economy, subvert the political process, and take away our freedom.

Their planscamdemic is working very well. For them.

After the crazies are swept out of office, we are going to have to crush them in all the nests they scurry to. We cannot afford to let them off the hook.

Second?

AFter many years reading, attending innumerable scholarly presentations on the political climate prior to the “war between the states”, I am convinced what we refer to as “Civil War” was truly the second American Revolutionary War and the good guys lost.

And don’t even start with “buh-buh-derp SLaVerY!” BS.

When Lincoln/Lenin signed the first Emancipation Proclamation it was to free our enemy’s slaves, meanwhile, slaves in MD, Delaware were still loading federal trains to prosecute an unconstitutional war.

Secession was peaceful, forging a “more perfect union” hasn’t been.

I welcome the imminent Third American Revolutionary War, and the bodies of traitorous scum decorating lampposts from coast to coast.

It is important that the United States and the US Constitution survive. People will die in wars, people will die in pandemics, people may even die in civil wars.

Peoples lives are temporary, however America and the US Constitution must continue on. It is the best shot that humanity have for survival.

If there is a civil war, after the bombs have fallen and people have died, we need to dust off the US Constitution and “reset.” We need to learn from our mistakes and there are many. We make the government better.

May God Bless America.

I choose liberty.

My family was involved in the first one.

Second American Revolution: Liberty or Tyranny, which will we choose?

So far the choice seems to be Tyranny, as the other option is largely unknown to most voters and is associated with Democrats and an insurance company.

Other than the murderous tyrants in various governments are using it as the trigger to start cleansing the earth of opposition.

And during that epidemic, life didn’t shut down

That's not entirely accurate, though. Schools, churches, and theaters were closed down during the Spanish Flu pandemic while other businesses had occupancy limits placed on them. I didn't like the lockdowns either, but there is a historical precedent.

Same, however I think something many people don’t understand is goign to limit things.

I want to be around to protect my family and children, however after much discussion with my wife and family last year we came to the conclusion that while be around for our kids is an absolute priority, it would be better that they raised by others in a free environment than have us and exist in an authoritarian hellhole.

If i had more time I’d expound more but its really important that everyone seriously consider this.

One of the mistakes to correct is the judges, politicians and bureaucrats not being held responsible when they cross the clear constitutional boundaries. Hanging or a firing squad should always be their payment for violating the constitution.

The founders assumed the citizenry would hold the violators accountable. See what long-term propaganda can do to a population.

One of the foremost constitutional theorists of the founding generation, John Adams, observed, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious People. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”1 He wasn’t the only Founding Father to hold this view. Indeed, James Madison wrote that our Constitution requires “sufficient virtue among men for self-government,” otherwise, “nothing less than the chains of despotism can restrain them from destroying and devouring one another.”2

Agreed. Maybe we have become lazy and complacent. Too comfortable? We defeated communism, we survived the threat of terrorism, and have nothing to fear any longer. Well, nothing on the immediate radar.

So we now direct our anger towards each other. American against American and the government against Americans. Maybe it is human nature to always have an enemy.

One thing that we are is lacking now is a Christian foundation. Maybe it is a coincidence, but American society started collapsing when we started forcing the Christian Faith out of the “public square” and out of American culture. Our Faith held us together as Americans. We may have had different political beliefs but “we were all Christian with Christian values.”

The “choice” of tyranny was made in 2008 & 2012 when a foreign communist was elected President...

I agree - I’m old enough to remember prayer and Bible readings in schools. But, I wonder if that cause and effect is not reversed. I wonder if leaving God out is the result, and not the cause, which then makes it the cause for our accelerated downward spiral...

With our rapid advances in technology, and the liberal misinterpretation of scripture (be a doormat and never disagree is NOT the definition of “turn the other cheek”), have we not simply decided that we, ourselves, are “god”, and we don’t need the real God?

The Bible used to be the only book, or one of two or three books in the average house. When you read anything, it was probably at the top of the list, so our ancestors knew what it said and lived by it. Now, you’d be lucky to see anyone reading anything at all instead of watching trash on the tube. (Unbelievable to me that they advertise “Rue Paul’s Drag Race during Andy Griffeth re-runs...)

Farmers used to have to depend on rain to survive. Modern irrigation systems have crops growing in the desert.

When folks got sick, they prayed and did what they could, and now we cure huge percentages of cancer patients. Some diseases are nearly extinct, because “we” figured out how to prevent them.

People used to work hard and be afraid to lose their jobs, all the time praying for help from above, but now we have “poor” people who are richer than 90% of the rest of the world, just by sitting home and waiting for their government check. After all, they “deserve it”. And they call us intolerant or racist, or un-loving if we even suggest it would be better for them to be self-reliant.

We COULD be grateful to God that He allowed us these advances and this prosperity, but it’s more satisfying to do as we please. The Bible is full of those stories...

God used to be “needed”, and people depended on Him. Now, we are just so smart and rich, we don’t care any more. And believe me, He has noticed.

How about Christmas songs in Public Schools? I learned all of the great Christmas songs in Elementary School. Not any more; can't have that.

How about advertising Broke-Back Mountain Christmas morning while the family are opening presents. Sick. It has gone too far.

When we lost our Christian Faith, we have no direction and we are more likely to do bad things.

Maybe the country is not salvageable at this point. Hardship will make people appreciate what they had. And we may be heading into a storm where hardship is the norm. Then maybe we will reconnect with what is important — God and the Christian faith.
