Any woman is marriageable if you shoot the husband

China is neither a western country nor a muslim country. It is a different place than most understand it to be. Marriageable women in China is not determined by shooting the husband. If the families do not approve of the woman, it does not happen. Women over 30 are not marriageable in Mainland China.

Outside of that at 27 she might be able to get a gig as a rich man’s second wife or concubine. Marriage for a woman there is more important than it is for American women. If working for a business or the government hey are required to retire at age 50 and if unmarried face an old age of being a beggar. There is a sort of social security but it isn’t enough to buy much more than a bottle of water a day.
I understand that but there are plenty of marriageable women in North Korea. There was a booming traffic in brides across the border till the Chinese authorities stopped it. Or tried to stop it.
And Chinese parents are getting pretty desperate to find women for their sons. Look up the kidnappings happening in some parts of China of women for forced (arranged) marriages.
