That’s what I understand... property valuation has a huge subjective component... especially prestige properties like Trump deals with.

More importantly … anyone reviewing a financial document involving a property appraisal should actually look at the damned appraisal and make sure it’s from an independent third party instead of relying on the assertions of the person or organization about the value of the property.
