I stayed at a Best Western in Halifax in 2015. The woman running the desk was pretty and feminine, and the two young women running the bar at the hotel restaurant were pretty and feminine. One of them was preparing to get married, so I wished her good luck. All of them also seemed happy to be talking to a foreigner from the USA.
