Publix Drops Mask Requirement for Vaccinated Workers
Breitbart ^ | 02/17/22 | Hannah Bleau

Publix is one of the latest major grocery chains to modify its mask mandate for employees, now allowing fully vaccinated workers to forgo masks while on the job.

The grocery chain made the announcement on its coronavirus FAQ page, reiterating that it does not require customers to wear a mask in the store. While it did, however, require employees to wear a mask, it modified that requirement. As of February 14, fully vaccinated employees no longer have to wear a mask while working. The company attributed the move to a “decrease” in coronavirus cases and the mass availability of the vaccine:

As a result of the decrease in COVID-19 cases and wide availability of the vaccine, fully vaccinated associates have the option not to wear face coverings beginning Feb. 14, 2022, unless required for their job duties or by a state or local order or ordinance. Pharmacy associates, regardless of vaccination status, are still required to wear face coverings when administering vaccines.

The move coincides with Walmart dropping its mask rule for vaccinated workers as well, affecting its roughly 1.6 million employees. However, like Publix, workers in “clinical care” settings must remained masked up.

Several blue state leaders this past week have announced the end of mask requirements in their states as well, including New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (D), Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker, and Delaware Gov. John Carney (D).

However, President Biden believes these moves are “probably premature,” as he continues to promote masking, requiring them on public modes of transportation, despite the fact that prior to taking office, he pitched “just” 100 days of masking to the American people.

If a woman can get paid millions of dollars in a civil lawsuit against McDonald's for spilling coffee on herself, then Publix can easily be opened up discrimination lawsuits, class action lawsuits, etc...

This violates title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, the American for Disabilities Act and maybe HIPAA because the company is blackmailing, threatening, coercing, etc... their job.

The unvaccinated may have struck gold with this dumb move by Publix.

On top of that Publix is based in Florida. I would not be surprised if they get pressure from the Governor.

Since the Jim Jones Jabs don't prevent anyone from getting nor spreading COVID-1984, forcing employees who didn't get them is not based on science and is nothing but discriminatory.

Like so much of everything to do with the Fauci Flu, Publix move makes no logical sense: Just as whether or not a person wears a completely useless mask, whether or not a person is “vaccinated” is irrelevant to catching and spreading the Fauci Flu.

My husband’s niece lives in Pennsylvania and when she found out Walmart dropped mask requirements for their vaccinated employees, she went on a rant about how she will NOT set foot in another Walmart that isn’t forcing masks on everybody. She has been vaxxed and boostered.

I think she’s going to run out of places to shop pretty soon.

It’s as if companies are continuing along with the fiction that the vaxx works and prevents transmission, regardless of the evidence. So now, with the clock running our for the midterm elections, we see changes to the rules.
* Long ago the MSM stopped running the chyron covid total death count, along with ay reporting of “grim milestones”
* Testing, of which there was never enough when the MSM was trying to spread panic, is now being reduced or dropped.

The masks are coming off, in so many ways.

How is this not a violation of medical privacy? I know, I know... Publix can know your vaccination status... that doesn’t mean you can be forced by your employer to broadcast it to everyone you meet!

Publix caters to upscale women shoppers. Thus, the COVID propaganda has been deeply absorbed and it will take months of ridicule to clear it out of their minds. Bless ‘em.

Publix has been one of the most authoritarian stores in western North Carolina. Very unpleasant atmosphere.

So ultimately, the mask is to serve as the “Scarlet Letter” identifying among Publix and Walmart employees the sinful “purebloods” that upgraded others should from now on shun and deride.

Beaming faces on Publix grocery store employees at my store here in Knoxville. Hear that Kroeger?

Ditto for the newly freed folks at my Regions bank as well. People are flat thrilled to take off the masks, especially since they have not been required for customers for months.

Big deal- this just shows how much Publix [& Disney- AdventHealth got in Disney’s pocket and is driving their Covid employee BS mandates—and others list is unfortunately endless] do not understand and not care to understand. Vaccinated STILL GET IT AND SPREAD IT (so frigging tired of having to repeat myself 😉)- let ALL EMPLOYEES- EVERY SINGLE ONE—DROP THE MASK unless of course they choose to wear one

I think they did get pressure or at least encouragement from DeSantis, because he was putting forward an order or perhaps a legislative act to be proposed that would prevent companies from requiring masks - in other words, it would be voluntary for those who wanted it.

I’ll be so happy to be able to chat with the checkers again, some of whom I have known for years. But everybody fell silent or semi-silent with the advent of the masks.

THe “masked servant class,” as a writer called them, is being set free.

Publix caters to normal human beings, and I doubt that there’s anybody in my local Publix that would count as “upscale.” The same folks shop at Winn Dixie, depending on which store is nearest, or if there’s something you want to get that Winn Dixie doesn’t carry.

Publix is (was) also one of the best employers in the South, is employee owned, and promotes from within. Many people would get part time jobs as baggers while in school, stay on and then get into management, and are now running the company.

The company got intimidated by Biden and the many Karens, a lot of them young males and a lot of them black, since black people are very devoted to their masks, and also by certain Florida Dem or RINO mayors who hate DeSantis and wanted to lock down and mask their cities.
