Sounds like propaganda.
This is an amazing story of courage and patriotism. Some liken it to the defense of Bastogne during WW II. But I think it better fits the story of the Alamo.

Actually, it’s neither Bastogne nor the Alamo. It’s STUPIDITY. They did not inflict a single casualty on the Russian forces and did no damage to the Russian ship.
There are times when “live to fight another day” is a wise option, IMHO.

Its not ‘trusting’ the news, its taking what info sources you have and drawing your own conclusions. This is now reported by multiple sources.
Could it be a disinformation campaign by Ukraine? Sure. My gut after multiple reports, given what else is going on, is that its believable. If it turns to be prop, its not like it wasnt for a good cause for Ukraine. Unlike the prop we get here regarding elections, Covid, our brain addled pResident. That propaganda is actually harmful.
