Jussie Smollett received a sentence of 150 days in jail [auto reduction for good behavior of 50%], 30 months of probation and to pay $120,000 in restitution & a $25,000 fine.
Yet, Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx, the official who did almost everything to release him without any punishment, wrote in a Chicago Sun-Times editorial; "Smollett was indicted, tried and convicted by a kangaroo prosecution in a matter of months." 2+ years is not a mere matter of months, you contemptible idiot!
Some people will just never assimilate or fit in this country; both Foxx and Smollett are in this group.
Did you read Judge Linn’s Statements?
“kangaroo prosecution”? A judge cannot be biased. If he is, it’s called a “kangaroo court”. But prosecutors are SUPPOSED to be biased. They are supposed to punish a perp as much as possible. It’s their job.
