Here’s Lara’s rant so we don’t have to go to Media Matters or MSNBC.
Yes Ukraine has problems. Was Zelensky selected? Certainly, he was selected by Kolomoisky. But everyone in Ukraine knew that, and still he got 70% of the vote in an election even the opposition concedes.
However, none of Ukraine’s problems justifies the corrupt dictator Putin sending in his army to remove the self-government of Ukraine, install Putin’s puppet, destroy beautiful historic cities, kill many many thousands of people (including many thousands of young Russians), drive literally millions of people from their homes and gobble up pieces of the country for his own empire against the wishes of the population.
