Getting hit with CS gas is not the same as someone using liquid nerve, or liquid blister agents on people.

From personal experience, when going through Air Force basic training I had a massive sinus problems, congestion, the works when I was in the dorms; Cepacol that they give you at sick call doesn’t do shit. When we started week 4, Warrior Week, day one CBRNE, had to go through the gas chamber. Once my eyes stopped burning I realized that I could breathe again. CS is one hell of a decongestant.

Amen to that. The only thing I ever felt worse about was the US Navy fire fighting training in the bowels of a ship. No lights, air pack but the diesel smoke made its way in anyways. Could barely breathe and it made the congestion worse.
