If I may suggest an accompanying volume, it would be this one, by the late, great Roger Scruton: Fools, Frauds, and Firebrands, Thinkers of the New Left. Very readable and highly recommended. To be succinct, the Frankfurt School raised Marxism from ignominious failure into something of pure, distilled evil, from which spawned Critical Theory, which has intoxicated at least three generations of gullible academics and would-be intellectuals who really should have known better had they been one-tenth as smart as they think they are.

If the foundation is a lie, and everything that follows is just more lies and then you try to cover the whole thing up and disguise it as something else, your plan is bound to fail.

Might take centuries but it’s a lock.

I’m not sure why the Rosicrucians never figured this out.
