He’s not the only honest man, I don’t believe.
However, I am aware that there is an active and continual effort to corrupt people.
If a politician is incorruptible, the establishment will try to get their hooks in you by putting you in compromising positions, even just a photograph that suggests that you engaged in corruption. Maybe you are talking to a pretty woman in your office and she jumps in your arm and somebody take a quick snap to make it look like you are not being faithful to your wife.
Whatever it takes to get you. The fact that this young man is talking about it is probably his best protection.
