From the words of former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with reference to the political drama in the Knesset:
On Passover we celebrate the Exodus of Israel from Egypt to the Land of Israel, the Promised Land. Today we are happy for a similar reason, and congratulate MK Idit Silman for making the right decision.
We all receive her with a warm embrace and open arms.
Idit returned home - to the right, to the national camp.
There is a weak and limping government in Israel today. Its days are few.
I hereby call on other members of the coalition whose hearts are in the right place: We are waiting for you. We will receive you with respect and appreciation.
You can "buy your world" [-achieve great success] in one decision that will save the State of Israel from the government of weakness. Make that right decision today.
Join Idit, join us - return home and together we will form a strong national government that will take care of all Israeli citizens - Jews and Arabs, religious and secular, ultra-Orthodox and traditional - all without exception.
We will form a government that will defeat terrorism, curb the Iranian nuclear program, lower the taxes that this government has raised, fight crime and violence in Arab localities, and ensure that all Israeli citizens are included in the Israeli success story.
Idit Silman
***There’s a curse of a name. Idiot Sillyman.
Well, this one is a blessing, rather. Idit, in Aramaic is ‘Quality.’
Besides IDIT meaning quality on Aramaic, it’s a she. Not a he.
So when a woman has a weird last name like Harriman, do they change it to Harriwoman?
And thanks to her conservative stand, Netanyahu embraced her.
Kudos to hero: Idit Silman.
Seriously. Does this shift of one person in Knesset means that Netanyahu will be back in power?
I am not sure, but I know Bennett coalition is pretty precarious.

Silman: What bothered me is a minister said to abide by High Court
The MK lamented that while she is considerate of others, others in the coalition are not considerate of her.

Israel’s Ruling Coalition Loses Majority as Whip Steps Down

He has a chance but I doubt he will succeed.
No, it does not mean Bibi will be back. It does mean that a right-center coalition could take power if Bibi would step aside, which is the same as before.
Almost certainly a Bibi comeback would require yet another election.
I agree.

At several sites in the Arab world including Al-Jazeera this morning they went a few steps further, not noticing the difference between "Aida Suleiman" and "Idit Silman". The headline in Al-Jazeera that Suleiman is withdrawing from the coalition has even a picture and facial expression accordingly. Even according to Al-Jazeera the Arabs are to blame. pic.twitter.com/X6aPElvYx9— Jack khoury.جاك خوري (@KhJacki) April 6, 2022
