I’m fascinated by all the folks saying, “just wait ‘till the midterms and we’ll clean house”. Kinda reminds me of the original Rollerball, where the assistant coach is trying to say they can still “win this game” even with the ridiculous rule changes. And the coach yells at him, “Game?! This was never meant to be a game!”
i.e. I don’t know if we’ll get the chance next November. We’ll see. But I’m preparing as if we won’t.
