At the very least (rock-bottom least), he has to lose his law license for the rest of his life. Reality should be six to twelve months in some fed prison. What gets me....just a whole lot of invented evidence, with no fear of this being figured out later. Begs the question....what else has this guy manufactured over the years?
Meanwhile, to the CIA he was saying that there was a client and it was political but that it did not matter. The problem at the CIA was that the much of the materiel was false with serious credibility factors. Thus he was telling the CIA the truth about having a client and that it was partly political, but the lie to the CIA was that these two did not matter.
But both the CIA and the FBI failed us. Both knew about the client, that it was highly political, and that much of the materiel was demonstrably false yet acted toward the people of the United States in an untrustworthy manner.
The Result of that breach of trust was the Mueller Investigation fiasco and the politicization of both governmental agencies to this day.
Until these agencies confess and come clean, they never should be trusted again. It is well past the time when they should have cleaned house and have not.
How about no jail time and law license suspended for about 15 minutes, like that joker who falsified an email on Carter Paige to try to make him look like a Russian stooge. Sadly that the more likely outcome

These agencies are a disgrace and display what life is like in places like Cuba, Venezuela, China, etc. and have NO PLACE in a FREE Country.

I think it’s more likely that Obama told Sussman to lie. Obama was pushing the Russian hoax when he knew all along it was a lie. No evidence to date has been provided to back up the Russian collusion hoax. This Sussman evidence just provided Obama cover to keep up with the lie. The press ran with the Russia farce through all 4 years of Trump’s presidency. The CIA and FBI knew what was going on and never once came forward to defend Trump. I think Brennan put all the blame on Sussman when he was interviewed by Durham.
