Looks like the attrition rate slowed down while the Russians were repositioning, but now that they are on the assault again, the ‘kill’ rate is back up.

I’m expecting the tank kills to resume climbing over the next week. Could hit 600 by end of the month. That would be 50% of original 1200.
Wonder how many replacement tanks Russia has been able to add to the fight.
They’ve been hanging back while massing for this offensive, so losses took a break for a week. Now they’re advancing and getting within range again. Those infantry screens (what used to be skirmishers back during the Napoleonic Wars and prior) are obviously not being employed or used to their full effect.

For example, Tanks would be 506 / 1200 = 42.2%

Sec Def said they will be training the UA on the howitzers out of country over the next few weeks - so the howitzers won’t be in the fight for some time. And there are only 18 of them, even so not much help - 180 would be better. Would be nice to send some MRLS, but no in the cards I guess.

Possible flaw in the analysis is that they use the total reported numbers of units in Russia - but a great many of those units are unusable.
Worse, the numbers do not take into account forces that cannot be removed without weakening Russia’s overall military posture. Still worse, the Russians took parts and pieces of Battalions and Regiments, leaving incomplete units in barracks, and a mishmash on the field.
