A top advisor of US Secretary Antony Blinken acknowledged that the India-Russia relationship is decades old and added, "Washington fully understands New Delhi's long-standing ties to Moscow."

While speaking to the news agency ANI on Thursday, Derek Chollet, Blinken's top advisor said that India and Russia have been sharing a "good bond" when the United States was not available to be a partner.

However, he stressed that the India-US partnership has also enough potential to thrive tremendously. India isn’t just purchasing arms from Russia, they have a *bunch* of joint development projects with Russia like the BrahMos missile family. Among a number of other things.

The further the U.S. steps away from Pakistan and closer to India the better things will get. I think there’s still some issues over the past left to be resolved.

India goes where the money is. Cozying up to Russia while Russia supports China.

Kick India and Chinese students out of the US and let them study in Moscow.

Biden isn’t helping things by continually cozying up to China.

While Biden officially ended funding research on arms development that could match the hypersonic nuclear edge Russia has.

India was happy to hear Biden was boycotting Russian oil. They offered to buy it all.

We should cut them some slack.

“We understand that India has had a long-standing defence relationship with Russia over many years and part of that was because the United States was not available to be a partner.”

That’s interesting; India supposedly headed the “non-aligned movement” during the Cold War. I guess they weren’t so non-aligned.

Red China is America’s unsafe low-rent factory; India is its low-rent office. Both kill American jobs, and their young people are trained in the US to do so. Neither are allies of the US, and both undermine American workers.
