I tried cooking okra once... emphases on ‘once.’ I hear if you fry it, it is better... mine was like eating snot.

Battered and fried is the only way I can eat it alone. But, like I said, it has a surprisingly lovely flower.

Try grilling it for a min or two just to get it hot... Comes off crunchy. They get snotty when over cooked. I love okra.
