Thanks for posting this stream of reality versus the lies we have been fed by both sides and most of the mediots, for decades.

My awakening came right after the Gulf of Tonkin B$/lies.

Case Closed: The Gulf of Tonkin Incident

This article by Capt. Carl Otis Schuster, U.S. Navy (ret.) originally appeared in the June 2008 issue of Vietnam magazine. A National Security Agency report released in 2007 reveals unequivocally that the alleged Aug. 4, 1964, attack by North Vietnam on U.S. destroyers never actually happened.

In the first few days of August 1964, a series of events off the coast of North Vietnam and decisions made in Washington, D.C., set the United States on a course that would largely define the next decade and weigh heavily on American foreign policy to this day. What did and didn’t happen in the Gulf of Tonkin on August 2 and 4 has long been in dispute, but the decisions that the Johnson Administration and Congress made based on an interpretation of those events were undeniably monumental.

While many facts and details have emerged in the past 44 years to persuade most observers that some of the reported events in the Gulf never actually happened, key portions of the critical intelligence information remained classified until recently.

“A National Security Agency report released in 2007 reveals unequivocally that the alleged Aug. 4, 1964, attack by North Vietnam on U.S. destroyers never actually happened.”

You’ll also find that many of the ‘atrocities’ that the Serbs were accused of committing in Bosnia and Kosovo are, very quietly, being given additional review - and guess what, most were fakes or at least vast exaggerations of events...yet we wound up bombing Serbian civilians for 78 based on them.

And yes, it was the same bunch now doing the same in Ukraine. There are two reasons for people to ‘believe’ the lies: 1: They only trust CNN for news; 2: They have personal interests regarding Ukraine (money, relatives, live in nearby states hoping to carve up Ukraine, etc.).

The people who simply claim that one country attacking another is grounds for WW3 and/or direct US involvement, never bother to explain why the FAR MORE DEADLIER wars in Yemen or Central Africa are NOT grounds for us involvement. So they’re lying regarding their rationale...and they fit into one of the two above groups.

Although North Vietnamese General Vo Nguyen Giap admitted in a 1984 discussion with Robert S. McNamara that the first attack was deliberate, he denied that a second attack had ever taken place. McNamara insisted that the evidence clearly indicated there was an attack on August 4, and he continued to maintain so in his book In Retrospect: The Tragedy and Lessons From Vietnam.

Who translated the Giap part of the interview?

My brother went into the service out of College in December 1966. After going through basic, and a stint in OCS, he ended up in the ASA. When he rotated back to our home which was 20 miles from the base, he began speaking to me about what was true and what was BS.

Needless to say I did not join the service as planned in 1971, I anxiously awaited the draft notice which did not come.

He gave me 2 books to read. None Dare Call it Conspiracy and None dare call it Treason. Along with a deep abiding distrust of the government side of any argument.

I wish he were still here, but he passed shortly after 9-11. He would have been a font of intelligent info.

In short, Vietnam was a scam, and the purpose was not to win anything, it was just a way to practice. Brown and Root was a Texas based LBJ donor don’t you know.
