One of the students had numerous writings and drawings which depicted weapons capable of causing mass destruction. He wrote about being "God-like" and killing police and other persons.
Two Uvalde teens were recently arrested for Conspiracy to Commit Murder after officers said they foiled a mass-shooting plot the pair had schemed. A press release obtained by KENS 5 thoroughly chronicles events leading up to an investigation performed by the Uvalde Police Department and the Texas Rangers.

The sort of thing, if it’s the same guy, that maybe should have come up in a background check when he bought an AR-15 the day after his 18th birthday.

Fours years ago makes them 18 or so - same age as the recent killer. Agree with a Freeper that posted a day or more ago that these minors with certain crimes should be prosecuted and put on a list.
Another report from the step dad says Ramos and a friend would ride around shooting people with BB guns. Might be the other kid mentioned in this story.
14 back in 2018. 18 year old psycho now shoots up a school in that same town. Likely Ramos was the kid referenced in this story.
Yet …
1. He’s not on any watch list that’d impede him buying a gun…
2. He lives with his grandfather who, because of a felony convocation, can’t legally own a gun and that doesn’t red flag the sale
3. LEOs had a specific threat and year for a threat. Where was the training? The current training is go in and kill the killer because he won’t stop. Don’t wait. Engage.
They instead set up police tape and detained at least one mother trying to go save her child.

Apparently one border patrol agent ignored the order and went in solo and killed the killer.

Recently, I commented about the likelihood of mass casualties intentionally facilitated by policy decisions.
AFAIC, it’s reasonable to surmise there are expected outcomes when no inhibiting factors are setup to prevent the outcomes — outcomes that are reasonably predictable such as school shootings.
In other words, the Rats have no problem sacrificing children in their goal to disarm the citizens.

The killer's 18th birthday was May 16, and the above article was published May 3 four years ago.
So, the killer would've been 13 when that article was published... right? (Or am I still half-asleep?)
For the record, I'm not saying either one was the killer. Just pointing out the killer would've been 13.

And people who knew him claim he had trouble in 8th grade.

The stepdad said Ramos and a buddy would ride around firing bB guns at people. Perhaps that’s the other child referenced in the article. So he clearly wasn’t friendless.
Given the psychiatric history would he be on Prozac Zoloft and all the other meds every major mass shooter has been on for the last twenty years?
If he’s on those meds, is he prohibited from purchasing firearms?
The initial story he killed his grandmother also isn’t true. She’s expected to survive. He also didn’t shoot her after an argument as he told someone online an hour before what he was planning to do.
A Texas officer on one comment board said the new training is to immediately engage an active shooter. The stand down order had to have been given by “the suits” but we don’t yet know who gave the order for 40 LEOs to wait outside and put up police tape and arrest parents who complained.
Yeah, I was thinking Ramos would've been the 13yo student, instead of the 14yo.
The 13yo was described as a "former" student, though. (Expelled?)
But, even if Ramos wasn't one of those students, he would've been in school with them.
If he wasn't one of those students, was he friends with them? Was he part of the plot?
The whole thing is just too coincidental.
I am still struggling to put together the timeline for this incident.
Did the border patrol agent, the one who shot the perp, confront him before he entered the school?

There was a parent who lost a child at Sandy Hook on Tucker who gave great guidelines about early intervention and protocol. Name?
Train and arm the faculty staff. Put a sign on the entrance-”Faculty and staff armed and trained.” It works in Florida. It is cheaper and more effective than obvious armed guards. If there is a cop at the door the shooter only needs to shoot him first. He can’t know which teachers have and can use guns.
Most news reports don’t credit the BP, saying that police went and shot the killer. BP doig the job is NOT WOKE!
All this a few days before Trump is to speak to the NRA convention in Texas.

If they armed and trained the staff, they couldn’t use the dead bodies of children to curtail our Second Amendment rights.
These are the folks celebrating killing babies - in and outside the womb. Think they aren’t willing to sacrifice anyone to further their agenda?
The problem is that, because both boys were minors, any record they may have had would either have been erased or hidden.
I know it’s to protect stupid, impulsive teenagers from being followed by a foolish act all their lives, but what these kids were talking about doing wasn’t like stealing chewing gum from the local 7-11.
In virtually all of these young male mass-shooting cases, the shooter has talked openly about it earlier, has attracted attention because of his obviously nutty behavior or appearance, and has committed smaller acts of violence (killing small animals, for example, or shooting at random pedestrians with a BB gun).
Not only are they rarely forced into residential treatment, even when they are, no record is kept or made available later. There’s no way a legitimate gun dealer can find a record of hospitalizations, arrests, treatments, medications etc.that might prevent him from selling a gun to one of these walking time bombs.
This has only gotten worse with that idiotic shut down, which gave these nutcases two years to fester outside of anybody’s sight and two years of isolation to secretly nourish their fantasies.
They can pass all the gun control laws they want, but it won’t do any good unless there’s some kind of “control” of the mentally ill, especially the mentally ill adolescent.
I think you are right. I would support a rather massive government bill to re-build the US mental health infrastructure, and to integrate it with a serious gun control registry to allow gun dealers simply check for red flags.
What the hell is the water down there?
