I would imagine that the comms would be extremely chaotic during a situation like that, with multiple agencies involved.

The boots on the ground are likely getting their direct orders from someone, who may be getting his orders from someone higher up, with almost no one on scene having a complete picture of the tactical situation.

Pretty easy situation to manipulate and manage for a particular outcome, in my opinion.

But always remember that it is the incompetent that allow the malicious to flourish.

"ascribe not to malice that which can be explained by incompetence. Napoleon"

Too true. Add in "cowardice" and we've got the Uvalde police failure nailed. Every Uvalde police officer needs to be fired to encourage police in the rest of the country to do their damned jobs.

Well, Napoleon hadn’t seen the democrat party.

Besides, since this situation goes well beyond basic incompetence, then it should be ascribed to malice.

There have been way too many mass casualty events in this country which got totally screwed up and buried. No investigations were done, no answers available. Just butt covering by the powers that be.

If you think that the left is above being willing to sacrifice the lives of their opponents to solidify their power grab, you are living dangerously in a dream world.

I believe this incident crosses the assessment boundary from incompetence into actual malice.

We have institutionalized systems for creating psychopaths and setting them loose to inflict maximum damage in support of totalitarian political agendas.

We have too many like-minded people seeded into positions of authority, who will advance those agendas whenever an opportunity presents. No centralized direction or conspiracy is needed for a specific incident. They all know how to "never let a crisis go to waste".
