You are right that the Russians have shown the world that their conventional military was not the juggernaut that was once so feared. They have also demonstrated to the Chinese that they are unable to defend Siberia and their rich underpopulated Far Eastern/ Pacific territories. Without nuclear weapons Russia would be much smaller. Putin made a catastrophic strategic mistake invading Ukraine and he strengthened the globalists considerably.

———————————————————————————————————————
••Oil in Kazakhstan:
Russian blocked oil transport through it territory. Kazakhstan will not recognize captured territory Donetsk and Luhansk, and will follow Western imposed sanctions. Support territorial integrity of Ukraine. Russians were POd and, oddly, coincidentally, there followed an explosion at Kazakhstan’s largest oil field - owned by a consortium with ownership made up of 50% Shell, 25% Exxon-Mobile, 20% by Kazakhstan, and 5% by Russia.

Pipeline through Russia is shut; now oil goes by ship to Azerbaijan, and then by pipeline on to Europe.

••Sakhalin Island:
In Russian Far East. Sakhalin-1 oil & gas field developed by Exxon-Mobile which owns 30%, 30% by Japanese companies, 20% by Indian company OMGC, and 20% by PJSC Rosneft Oil Company. Sakhalin-1 oil field is technically and environmentally challenging; Exxon-Mobile provided the knowhow to slant drill for kilometers. However because of sanctions, they all pulled out, lowering production from 230,000 bbls a day to 10,000 bbls a day. Russia does not have th expertise to restore the production to its former levels.

Russia was producing around 10 million bbls a day in March. So 2% of its production is just gone - one example of many. Since the easy to extract oil is in Western Russian it makes sense to them to reduce production to about 7-8 million balsa day; price of oil goes up, but they still get same revenue by producing less.

Russia is switching to China and India as its principal oil markets. India is buying 1 million bbls, and China buying 2 million bbls a day in this new and growing market. China has replaced Saudi Arabia with Russia as its largest source of oil. Eventually they will soak up all of Russia’s oil exports.

••Ukraine Currency Reserves:
Ukraine Government foreign currency reserves (saving account): April 1st had 28B, May 1st had 27B, June 1st had 25B July 1st had 22.8B - a sustained drop in reserves with increasing spending. Run rate per month is < $2B. Currency will be effected, if the reserves go below 7-8B, giving Ukraine 6 months of spending.

Related: European Investment Bank blocked its aid to Ukraine which was supposed to be US$1.5B. Problems developing getting foreign financial aid for Ukraine; this problem will accelerate and get worse, going forward.

••Wheat Production in Kherson Region:
Grain and wheat production in captured regions in south: Kherson and Zaporizhzia. Dead from the farming perspective for lack of incentive (confirmed by Russian propaganda sources) because it is logistically challenging to export the grain. Russian sources say they have to buy the grain far below market price of US$145 a metric ton. Transportation eats US$45mt, leaving only US$100.

Diesel is high, plus fertilizer is high due to Russia blocking fertilizer supply. This leaves the farmers with a profit of US$10.00mt. Some farmers are dumping their vegetables for lack of profit. Kherson largest supplier of early vegetables which are source of high value added profit. Farmers will have almost no money to plant next year.

••Ukraine High Command:
Continued focused, fierce attacks on Orc ammo and fuel depots. Attacking where ever there is a known depot even far into the Orc-held Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts. Orc sources report heavy damage.

WiU believes the continued attacks on ammo and fuel dumps is less productive and less efficient because all that they have destroyed is now arriving in large quantities. They will replenish and restore their inventory of artillery shells. Loss of the old ones no big deal.

These continued attacks on Orc ammo and fuel is better than nothing: before they had no strategic plan, so this is better than nothing.

Orc army is regrouping right now, so they are waiting for new conscripts, fuel, ammo, equipment as seen being transported by rail. The question is where will they renew their attacks when they are ready. Ukraine is preparing north-south straight defense line from Kramstorsk south, so will Orcs do a flanking attack from south in Popasna region which is flat-ish terrain with no forests, just fields, and is weakest in UA troops? Orcs could resume attacks in 2-3 days or a week or longer.

———————————————————————————————————————
Summary: No major changes. Russian troops are being resupplied with fresh reserves and regrouped.
Key areas:
- Izyum bridgehead: no changes.
- Popasna/Lysychansk area: no changes.
- Svitlodarsk area: no changes.
- Donetsk West: no changes
- Kherson bridgehead: no changes.

1. Kharkiv: No changes.
••North of Kharkiv shelling continues intense.
••East of Kharkiv - most Orc troops pulled. UA militia troops will not be able to withstand renewed Orc attack.

2. Izyum bridgehead. No changes.

3. Popasna/Lysychansk area: No changes.
••Whole area is made up of small towns - is almost a continuous suburban area. Attacking through the area would be costly for Orcs.

4. Svtilodarsk area: No changes.

5. West of Donetsk: Avdiyivka and Maryinka. No changes.

6. Vugledar: No changes.

7. Velyka Novosilka - Gulyapole stretch of frontline. No changes.

8. Kherson bridgehead: No changes

Russia has not produced a new nuclear weapon or reprocessed an old nuclear weapon since 2017. In five more years their nuclear weapons will be measured in the dozens if not just a few.

“Most recent BBC report on Russian losses notes:

1. Every fifth KIA is VDV (Airborne)
2. 17% are officers
3. ‘Volunteers’ have the fastest growing rate of losses
4. According their sources, ‘volunteers’ and PMCs are currently primary assault forces”

“More than 40% of ‘volunteers’ killed in action are older than 45 years old.” Most are from provinces, have low average salary.

RuZZia scraping the barrel to find missiles.

“Mykolaiv Governor Vitaly Kim claims that Russia is using S-300 air defense missiles to fire on ground targets. He says they’re putting GPS devices on them but they are still inaccurate. “

“As a reminder, many Russian anti-ship or air defense missiles, including the S-300’s, are supposed to have a ground-attack function. Presumably, they’re using the oldest S-300P-variant missiles in this role. 2/”

Since many Orc 200s were never claimed and buried in mass graves and, since no one counts the 200s from the DNR/LNR 1AK or 2AK, the total troop losses are all likely far higher.

“continued attacks on Orc ammo and fuel is better than nothing”

At least it slows the Russian artillery. The Ukraine desperately needed an answer to that challenge.

Logistics is a Russian weakness. It might start breaking if attacked. They are not losing just stocks of fuel and artillery shells; but also specialized facilities, equipment and people with skills. Perhaps some spot shortages of those will compound the effects.

Sounds like 12 HIMARs from USA. I only thought 4 were in UA but this says 8 now there and 4 more on way.

“U.S. has trained more than 100 Ukrainian troops on the HIMARs multiple launch rocket system: senior U.S. military official

Ukraine has received 8 HIMARs systems from the U.S. and 4 more are on the way. The UK and Germany have also pledged MLRS systems.”
